HackerBlaster is a cooperative game. One player plays FPS, the Blaster(PC), who guns his way through a maze. The other player, the Hacker(PC or mobile), plays a text-based hacking experience and uses his/her map to guide the Blaster. The game uses no connect between the devices, the players has to communicate verbally to overcome the challenges.

I designed this game from the ground up and programmed the maze generation.

This game was a wonderful challenge. The biggest issue that emerged was that the idea was grand to begin with. Two completely different games for an engine that we had only just began using. The main focus in the design was to make the interaction satisfying, and that lead to the individual experience not being as good as it could have been.
